Nursing & Medical Licensing (BRN/BVNPT)
The Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) and the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT) require Live Scan for all initial licenses.

Ongoing Monitoring: Once fingerprinted for your license, the DOJ notifies the Board of any subsequent arrests or convictions.

Renewal Requirement: If you were fingerprinted before January 1, 2014, the BRN may require a new Live Scan at the time of your renewal to comply with modern digital standards.
